Do you buy gold?
Yes, as scrap. We do not resell pieces we buy from the public. We buy old broken jewelry & spare gold you may have laying around. If you need some extra cash or money for a new piece bring in all the pieces that sit in your jewelry box. Restyling also available so you can update an old piece into your new favorite accessory.

Are repairs done on site?
All repairs are done in house unless otherwise specified.

What services do you offer?

JEWELRY REPAIR: Got broken jewelry, rings too lose or tight? Bring them into Cravens & Lewis Jewelers and let John or Gary make them new again. They can repair rings, earrings, pendants, chains, pins, furnish and set missing stones. Free Estimates will be given on your jewelry repair. All repairs are done in house unless otherwise specified.

JEWELRY RESTYLING: Most of us have jewelry that we do not wear. It may be in a drawer at home or tucked away in a lock box at a bank. Cravens & Lewis Jewelers can help you restyle your old jewelry into a new piece that you will enjoy and be proud to wear. We also allow trade-ins of old gold toward your new piece.

RESTRINGING BEADS & PEARLS: If you have any strands of neglected pearls in your jewelry box we can check the strands and restring if necessary.

APPRAISAL: Written appraisals for insurance replacement purposes. It is a detailed description of each item, details of the stones contained within the jewelry with a picture for identification and replacement value.

ENGRAVING: Personalization of your jewelry, gifts or awards can be done at Cravens & Lewis Jewelers. We can engrave on brass, aluminum, stainless steel, pewter, silver, gold, glass and acrylic items. Shari has engraved a military sword, a fishing lure, and a trowel to name a few of the uncommon things that we have engraved with our computerized engraver. If we can hold the item securely, we will engrave it.

RHODIUM PLATING: Rhodium electroplating is used, especially on jewelry, to provide a surface that will resist scratches and tarnish, and give a white, reflective appearance. Rhodium plating is most often found on white gold. This is a service we provide to bring the shine back to well worn white gold pieces
